Running Windows at 100% volume all the time means I can't turn it up more. But if I'm watching a quiet video (that I cba to download and volume boost manually), being able to turn up the volume more is nice. They have proper amplifiers and the DAC is quite powerful (the combination is enough to nearly blow out the speakers, actually). either aren't volume boosters, are how-to articles on obscure tech sites (that always recommend "volume equalization", which again is not what I want), are softonic (and clones), or cost money.ĭo you know any volume booster that boosts everything? I don't need bass boosted specifically, or high frequencies boosted, etc. I literally can't use their special volume control keybinds, because I already have (non-negotiable) drivers that have their own volume control.Īnd most other Google results I got for any variation of "windows volume control", "windows volume mixer", "windows volume boost", etc. Like, it tries extra hard to not let you control the volume from Windows. VoiceMeeter doesn't support the Windows volume control. However, FxSound Enhancer only has a "dynamic boost" (no thanks - doesn't amplify all sounds equally) or an equalizer that only works above 110Hz. My ideal solution would be to do something like what DFX/FxSound Enhancer does, which is to have a virtual audio device set as the default playback device, and an application takes audio sent to that device, and just sends a louder version to my actual speakers. I need help finding a sane volume booster that boosts all frequencies (including the very low ones, <40Hz). Hide Flairs Show Flairs Hide Help Posts.Need help with a post?
